Jen - YKYLF Editor-in-Chief
So adorable and twee! These characters sometimes overdo it on the adorableness. It's just not a look for every occasion.

Aria (Pretty Little Liars) vs. Emma (Glee)
These two are Hot For Teacher. Aria won her teacher BF's affection with totes inappropriate school fashion including crop-tops, over-the-knee-socks, 6" heels, crinolines, and see-through everything. Emma dresses like Teacher Barbie - perfect for life in a plastic box, but don't her perfectly pressed skirts get wrinkled after sitting all day in her office?

Char (The Lying Game) vs. Brittany (Glee)
Battle of the Adorbale Blondes. Char dresses for school like she's attending a tea party circa 1960 with the Queen Mum. Brittany wore thigh-high sport socks, pleather hip-waders, and a football jersey while campaigning for Student Body President... although her outfit was practical for her dance number, I guess?

Zoe (Hart of Dixie) vs Emily (Pretty Little Liars)
From one adorable extreme to the other. Dr. Zoe Hart sashays about Bluebell in teeny shorts (sometimes leather) and sky high wedges. But even with the addition of the white coat, it just doesn't seem to small town doctor appropriate. Or any size town doctor appropriate. And dear, sweet Emily. She's all worn-in jeans and drapey t-shirts. It wouldn't kill her to dress up every now and then.

Laurel (The Lying Game) vs. Charlotte (Revenge)
Battle of the Little Sisters With Shiny Hair. Laurel knocks it out of the park on a weekly basis with her careful accessorizing, but are all of those French-inspired fashions appropriate for her gig in a old-timey country band? Charlotte also rocks it out as Hamptons Skipper in a variety of sundresses and rompers. Unfortch, a more appropriate wardrobe for her right now would be hotel scrubs and/or a straightjacket - girl's on the verge of a nervous breakdown and getting closer every week.

Billy (Jane by Design) vs. Declan (Revenge)
Rebels without much of a cause. Billy's school style includes a dozen rings and bracelets along with his fauxhawk. Can he write (or text?) with a ring that attaches two of his fingers together? And what's up with his jaunty scarf for the camping trip? Declan works in a bar (despite being a teen) so anything he wears is, by definition, inappropriate. Even his extensive collection of American Apparel v-necks and ill-fitting, oversized dinner jackets (why does he have more than one? And can't he get a tailor?)

Mads (The Lying Game) vs. Irish Kid (Glee)
Wee Little Lollipop vs. Lucky Charms. Mads dresses for school in lace skirts, leather jackets, sky-high heels and more necklaces than her wee frame can fully support. Irish kid dresses like the back-in-time Irish version of Charlie Sheen on 2 and a Half Men - not exactly a winner of a style icon. Practical for walking from class to class, but totally inappropriate if he ever wants to land a girl or fit in at school.

Ivy (90210) vs. Hanna (Pretty Little Liars)
It takes 5 minutes for them to remove all their rings for this battle. Hanna tried to wear a red body-con minidress to a funeral; Ivy wore a fitted sheet as a skirt. One is inappropriate for the occasion; the other is inappropriate for every occasion, except maybe the Broadway revival of Godspell.

Jess (New Girl) vs. Ashley (Revenge)
The Battle of the Bitchin' Bangs. Jess's retro cutesy style is appropriate in her Kindergarten classroom, but questionable when she's surrounded by adults. Ashley's hemlines are high and her heels are even higher - aren't assistants supposed to blend into the background?
