Kate O'Leary - Staff Editor Episode Synopsis: I love it when the show breaks into mini storylines for each girl, and this week we gain a lot of insight; yet...still left with so many new questions! WHY, WHY, WHY PLL writers, WHY?? I JUST WANT SOME ANSWERS. Well, we do get some. Spencer's dad is hiding major secrets that involve a scandal with the DeLaurentis'--but why? Mike is worried he is not going to be ok and Aria 'fesses up to their parents, is there something more going on in that brooding head of Mike's? Hanna tries to make amends with Kate to no avail and vows some of revenge of her own--what could it be? And Emily reunites with Maya--ugh--what happened to Samara? WHY? WHY WHY WHY???
The girls were rockin' some interesting looks this week...these outfits could only be fit for a PLL.
I don't know if these are tights, leggings, jeggings, or jeans, but is it strange that I kinda love this outfit? The boots are what make it spectacular (and here's where to buy the top)! I think its the inner rock star in me that wants to dress edgy all the time so I'm always jealous of what Aria wears. She pulls it off no problem. I just hope this isn't a precursor to a full-on Taylor Momsen phase...

And once again the manicures are impeccable! What a fun color to pair with the electric blue top

Did Aria wake up, thinking she was in a dream, and mistakenly thought she was 5 years old--or maybe 80 years old? The headband is way too cutesy and that color...too old-fashioned.

I know this looks like a dress, but it's actually three pieces - a skirt (gorgeous pleating), a top, and a striped bodysuit. All available in colors other than maroon.
Emily had one outfit this episode (besides her running gear, which was nothing special) and this was not special either. That shirt and those light-wash jeans (verging on the side of stone-wash) do absolutely nothing for this girl's figure...except add 30 pounds. However, her earrings are adore! Totally different and unexpected. Note to self: need to buy similar pair ASAP.

Sometimes Hanna's fashion choices are toeing the line between trendy and skanky. Hanna, honey, didn't Ashley teach you not to wear knee-high boots with a Forever 21 denim mini-skirt AND a colored lace bra peeking through your top? I'm sure she did because there is no way Ashley would be caught dead in anything close to resembling a visible undergarment. I do like the top--just styled differently.

Once again, Hanna, what are you thinking? Especially for SCHOOL?! Has Rosewood High suddenly transplanted itself at Constance Billard in Manhattan? This Myne dress is a bit too much for RHS.

All around meh. Color could be better (baby poop green is not flattering on anyone, although here the dress appears to be more yellow). Fit could be better. Hair could be way better.

Oh how I love Flashback Hanna. So sweet and innocent in a fat suit. And what a contrast to the Hanna above.

Did Spencer know she was going to find out some scandalous secrets and that's why she dressed so conservatively this week? Totally classic. I would really like to point out her hair in these next three images. I mean, her hair normally looks better than the average person, but this week it's over-the-top amazing!

Ok, take note of the hair again. AND THEN--bring your focus to this awesomely awesome jacket. Fitted, but not too fitted, interesting button closure and a slight '80s vibe. LOVE. This would look so good with Emily's earrings ::visions of clothes from this episode wafting in and out of my head:: I'm off to fashion dream world now...

This is Spencer's BEST hair look (maybe ever). A little fuller and looser than normal. Doesn't she look so relaxed? Why is Flashback Spencer so much more bohemian?

Was this not the most precious moment ever?! Can I get a kleenex?
