Save the Date - Part 1 of 2 - The Best of the Best

Episode Synopsis: While there was not much in the way of fashion in this episode, A did not hold back. Emily is getting crazy intense about her swimming, resulting in her using a lot of "pain" cream and worried about her parents finding out about the fake scholarship letter. Hanna is worried that Caleb is going to get hauled off to prison. Ezra is worried that Jason is trying to get on his gf (and well...he should be worried). And Spencer is just worried about everyone. But A really took his/her scare tactics to the extreme by adding HGH...that's right, human growth hormone to Emily's pain cream, landing her in the hospital. WHY AREN'T THESE GIRLS FREAKING OUT MORE??? A.K.A going to the cops or telling their parents??

This just may be my favorite dress of the whole season!! I guess I'm just a sucker for simple, white sundresses, but it's so cute! The belt and boots are the perfect accessories. Do you hear that Aria?? The belt and boots are perfect...the chunky, stone necklace AND feather earrings are over the top.

And it's nice to see someone actually re-wear a piece of their wardrobe i.e. the leather jacket. 

Oh wait...that's not the end of her accessorization (that's right...I just invented that word). I'm obsessed with oversized rings especially of the more natural gem variety, so I'll let these slide.

An affair does the body good. Ashley looks dynamo after her midnight romp with the ex-hubby. While she can't quite get away from the neutrals, the gray is slightly daring and the fit is impeccable. 

Don't they just look so cute?? Although I'm pretty sure actual Candy Stripers only exist on the silver screen, I have never seen one in any hospital I've ever been to...

Their little tennies are adorbs too! And if you look closely, you'll notice their socks have some sort of fringe on them. Darling! 

Em always knows how to rock a leather jacket--and the dark leather and dark top complement the lighter, grayish denim.

However, I have come to conclusion that the seasons do not change in Rosewood. I think an edgy leather jacket or sophisticated trench and boots can be found in every episode!

I never thought Emily would have stand out accessories but this ring cannot be ignored! The light pink nails are another win!

Hanna, Hanna, Hanna...what city do you think you're living in?? Clearly she thinks she's on the Upper East Side. I love the pink and I love the ginormous, structured bag...but the jacket's lapel is clashing with the pleating and detail on the dress. Too much. Then again, these KILLER SHOES may just make up for all of it....

I don't know why I was surprised that Hanna shows up to whisk Caleb away channeling Old Hollywood glamour, but I was. The girl can really pull off a head scarf though. 

Hanna is like the girl I wish I was in high school ::sigh:: love her!

Aren't they just the cutest couple?? Just had to throw this in for good measure--obviously they are my fave PLL couple. 

Save the Date - Part 2 of 2 - The Umms, Uh-ohs, and ACCCCKKs!!

I've made my love for Caleb pretty well-known, but I'm getting a little tired of drab wardrobe. Maybe he should just be shirtless all the time...?

It's official. Ella does not own any other pair of footwear. She probably can't afford it, somebody has to pay for all of Aria's accessories.

I know this is supposed to be workout gear but this "sweatshirt" looks a little like hemp. And we all know what people who hemp do...counterintuitive, no?

Now, I just recently graduated from college and never in my four years did I see a professor wear a suit and tie. Maybe a tie here or a sport coat there, but not together. Ezra does know that he could go the casual route? 

EWWW. EWWW. EWWW. I'm not sure why I was so disgusted by this--I mean, Jenna is a pretty girl, but I almost had to close my eyes. I guess I had the same reaction as the PLLs. I really need to be not so involved in this show like it is my own life...oh well. 

She still has the SAME sunglasses from season 1. On the plus side, she's wearing a taupe colored jacket with a wide collar that has the beginnings of cuteness. I wish we could have seen the rest of it. 

What. the. hell? I don't understand this outfit; I don't want to understand this outfit. It's like the top is a cheerleader vest and the skirt is verging on the edge of poodle skirt territory. And of course, over-the-knee socks and hi-tops are the perfect additions! Not. 

Also? The back has a small keyhole, which seems completely unnecessary. 

 

The whole "escaping-from-my-mistake-of-an-engagement" rendezvous with Ashley is definitely not doing as much for the Mister as it is for Ashley. He seems disheveled. Are his clothes representing a connection to his life and emotional state of mind? Or maybe that's a little deep for this show...

Wren had to be included for two reasons: 1) He's supposed to an intern or resident or something, obviously in Med school and he's the only one of the entire cast that actually looks to be high school age in real life. 2) I'm loving this minty green and khaki together. Working these colors into my wardrobe ASAP.  

Ready for the CREEPY????

It's safe to say that A is completely and utterly psychotic. Who in their right mind hides in a morgue? Under a sheet? Like a dead person? 

However...

...the chest of this person appears to be flat. Can we assume A is male?

Mini Recap: Save the Date

If I were these girls, I would be majorly freaking out. I don't understand how they seem so casual that 'A' is trying to kill them. He/she basically poisoned Em with HGH and then poses as a dead body in the morgue. Just when I thought 'A' couldn't get any creepier...
On a lighter note: Caleb is being stalked by a man in shiny, new Camaro. Do I sense a father figure trying to learn about his son?
