The Badass Seed - Part 1 of 3 - Just Kiss Already!

Episode Synopsis:  Rub-a-dub-dub, two lovers in a tub.  Hanna catches sight of Caleb's full monty in the shower, forcing her to confront her true feelings for this hunky bad boy (who wouldn't have to after seeing that!).  Ezra hires Aria as the stage manager for the school play and their relationship hits some turbulence.  Emily and Toby finally reconcile as Toby begins to realize just how crazy Jenna is.  Although Toby is more concerned about Spencer's relationship--what exactly is going on there?  Ian continues to live up to his creeptastic reputation as the Liars relive a questionable night at his frat house.  And A plants something mysterious amongst the props, leading the Liars to turn it into the po-po; but it turns out their initial hunch wasn't exactly on par...

Somewhere between all the sleuthing, play practice, and dealing with A, the girls have still managed to deal with boys.  And a few of our couples had some super swoon worthy smooches this week!

I like the tie dye, and the color of this shirt, but it's extremely unflattering and I hate the cropped length.  It's too flowy and it's just not doing much for me, I know Hanna has way better outfits in her closet.

Harboring a cute boy in the house means Hanna must always be on her A game.  I'd say she does a pretty good job here, not many people I know can roll out of bed looking this great (if anyone knows how, please inform me, thanks).  I love the peace sign with birds (are they owls?) design, the blue color, and it doesn't make her look like a pre-schooler, giving Caleb just enough to look at.

This is my fav outfit Hanna wears this episode, it's unfortunate she is forced to change (but not too unfortunate).  I really love the top which reminds me of a figure skater's outfit, and the pattern is gorgeous.

And her side french braid is super fun and flirty!  Perfect to "Just come in and grab it [mascara]."  Right, mascara, wink, wink.

Obviously Hanna has to change after getting down and dirty with Caleb.  This top is just cute, it's not glamorous, but not hideous either.  I like the light pink color with beaded polka dots.  And the blousy fit looks good on her here, much better than the purple shirt from before.

Again, this shirt is just meh to me.  Nothing to write home about, I like the color and the detailing on top.  But it seems a little old womanish to me.

I hate flashbacks to Hanna's "fat" years.  1.  She doesn't even look fat.  2.  If they're going to make her look bigger, they could at least do a better job.  Anyone can stuff a pillow under their shirt, but no matter what you do, it will always look like a pillow!  Thus, there is nothing about this outfit I like.  The only good thing is her hair (as always).

Um, I take that back.  I am not a fan of her hair here.  I would like it much better without the loose curls in the front.  I do however, like her jacket.

But whoa!  Not the whole outfit.  Hello Hanna, did you forget to get dressed after your little romp around with Caleb?  Wow, those stockings should be left in the bedroom and not worn to school.  Or to the Police Station, I hope she changes before entering the slammer or some inmates may get the wrong idea.  Tsk, tsk.

OoO-La-La!  This is my idea of a nice, hot shower!  I'm sure Hanna wishes she could wake up to this every morning.  I'm sorry, what am I supposed to be talking about?

Oh yes, fashion.  Well I'd say Caleb looks pretty fashionable here, wouldn't you?  That's what I thought, you're just as lost in his um, dreamy eyes as I am!  I just wish we could have gotten a glimpse of his tattoo...

And this is just for your viewing pleasure.  You're welcome!

After making fun of him a few episodes ago, Caleb really seems to be channeling the Biebs with his sweatshirts.  Maybe he's realized the power the Biebs has over most girls--it certainly worked on Hanna!

A full body look:

This may be Caleb's best look yet (Pause.  Rewind.  Scroll up a little.  Drool.  OK I take it back, this is Caleb's second best look).  I love guys in black tees and jeans, and I LOVE the ripped jeans on him.

Right, so is Aria trying out to be the next conductor of the Phillharmonic Orchestra?  Because that's what she looks like here, either that or a penguin, I'm not sure.  But either way, I don't like it.  (And did anyone else notice the armwamers just like Brittany wore in Glee?  I wonder if they're on to something...)

This look wins best outfit of the week, hands down.  There isn't a bad part of this outfit!  I love the hunter green extra-long tank paired with the off white 3/4 length cover up--which has just a slight hint of a shoulder puff (LOVE).  And that hat!  It compliments the outfit wonderfully.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this look--I might go as far as to say this is one of my favorite looks from any of the Liars thus far.  OK, I said it.

Here's a better look at the long, African inspired necklace which is absolutely beautiful, and is a perfect accessory as it doesn't take away from the rest of the outfit (Mona could use a lesson from Aria).

But the best part is the butterfly shaped sheer cut out on the back, exposing Aria's tank.

And look at her cute little braid!

Aria, why?!  I don't even know what to say, other than when I first saw this I wanted to barf.  I don't think tie dye pants are in anymore (not that I ever thought they should have been, but some people do disagree), and even if they were in, they do not match whatever she's got going on up top.  The shirt may or may not be velour, which in itself if just not fashionable.  But paired with the pattern and the sheer material on the shoulders, this is just one HOT mess.

But aww, are those little giraffe earrings?  Those I can possibly accept.

This is another outfit I'm not very wild about.  I like the color and the fit, but I do not like the harsh chain pattern on the bottom half.  Nor do I like the lacy tights, they don't match the dress well.

Aria ends on a good note with this dark pink top with black tiger stripes.  I'm not a huge fan of the material, but I like the top enough to let it go.  And the jacket is a very nice choice.

Wow!  Ezra's not wearing a button down, vest, or tie here!  This is a nice change, especially when he takes off that sweatshirt.  Who knew Ezra was hiding some muscles under there?!  No wonder Aria "thinks [he's] pretty hot stuff!"

Ezra plays the part of teacher well, and a sucker for ties and polka dots, I absolutely love Ezra's choice here.

Well it's about stinking time!  Both kisses were total awwww moments, and I can't express how happy I am that both couples came together in the end.

But I give the best kiss award to Hanna and Caleb - who now need a nifty nickname, hmm Haleb, Canna, Haneb? - It was just such a perfect moment, and the camera action was so cheesy I loved it!

The Badass Seed - Part 2 of 3 - In Limbo

While Aria and Hanna were busy cementing their relationships, a few of our Liars were busy working out the kinks in their budding relationships.  Is anyone else as concerned as I am on the whereabouts of Alex?

This is one of my favorite outfits Spencer wore this week, but unfortunately we don't get to see the whole thing.   I love the purple and rose chiffon blouse under the short cream and grey cardigan.  And I love her hair, it's hard to tell here, but it's super shiny with just the right amount of wave.  Perfect.

Spencer has a bad dream about Ian and his baby (?), yet still manages to wake up looking absolutely adorable in her waffle grey pajamas and pigtails.

Here's the story, of a lovely Liar, who was still sleeping when she got dressed this morning.  This is not a lovely shirt, on Spencer, oh no it's noOot!

OK, just humor me, that's a hard tune to put words to!  In all seriousness, I don't know what is going on here.  Either she went shopping in Carol Brady's closet, or she made a shirt out of the Brady family curtains.  I fear for Spencer a little, and not for her life, but for her fashion sense.

It's a shame because I really love these boots, and they would look awesome with just about anything else.

She redeems herself a little here in this flashback.  I love the pattern and the cut on this strapless dress; it shows off her lovely long legs.  And the double buckle belt is fabulous.

I like the extra long black and white houndstooth cardigan, over the white and black patterned tee-shirt.  But the outfit in its entirety made me yell at my TV screen for poor fashion choices.  Capri length leggings and those ugly black shoes?  No!  She's at school, not going to yoga.   And don't get me started on her hair.  I do however, really like her earrings, they add a nice pop of color.

Here is another poor fashion choice.  Spencer is really slender, but this overcoat makes her look skeletal.  And I am not a fan of the tiny, iron-downed collar.

I hated her hair in a ponytail above, but I love it here.  I think she looks absolutely gorgeous.  The military jacket is so spectacular, the whole outfit is really.  If you look closely you can see that her tights are plaid, and they look great under her skirt.  And the choice of nail polish is spot on.  I'm excited that (I think) we will be seeing more of this outfit next week.

Typical Toby here, but he gets points for working with his hands.

Plus a few more points for this leather jacket.

This is standard Emily, blue is definitely her color.  Though I think the shirt would have been much better if it was a little tighter.  But I like how she plays up the outfit with the double necklace look.

At first I thought Emily was wearing a red scarf, but once she took the jacket off it turned out to be a cowl neck sweater.  Unfortunately, I would have rather it been a scarf.  I am a huge fan of her jacket and boots, both of which we've seen before in "If At First You Don't Succeed, Lie, Lie, Again."  I fell in love with the boots then, and I love that she is wearing them and the jacket again, that's so normal it's great!

Normally a fan of cowl neck sweaters, there is something about this one that isn't sitting well with me.  I think the pants have something to do with that.  I know she's wearing jeans, but in this shot they really look like black pants and it's too churchy for me.

I like Emily's outfit here when it's all put together.  But without the jacket I'm not loving it.  Minus the scarf, this looks like an outfit I once wore in 4th grade.  I loved it when I was nine, but I like to think I've developed my fashion sense since then and have moved on from wearing open button downs over a tee-shirt, and I think it's time Emily moved on too.

The Badass Seed - Part 3 of 3 - The Offense

Ian and Jenna remain the top two A suspects as we learn the two have been engaging in some dirty business (and not the Hanna/Caleb type).  We also learn that Ian knows a lot more about Ali than he's been letting on.  Which leaves us asking, who exactly is running the offense to the Liar's defense?

In these pajama's Ian stays true to form as he looks like he was plucked from a J-Crew catalogue.  All he needs is a big fuzzy hat and a cup of hot cocoa.

Ian may not be Rosewood's best person, but unfortunately he is one of the best dressed guys.  Could this be a grey cashmere sweater?  It just may!  And I like the blue and white striped button down underneath.  Well done Ian, now let's just work on your creepy demeanor.

So Ian is Rosewood's best dressed guy, EXCEPT when he wears his version of a track suit; I think we can all agree that no one but Sue Sylvester can wear a track suit and have it be socially acceptable!

Another preppy argyle sweater.  Please don't hate me, or stop reading, but Ian is starting to grow on me.  At least his looks are.  I can't help it, I always like the bad guys in movies and TV!  Plus, whenever I see Ian I always think of him as Ben Cooper from Disney's Smart House--and he was so darn cute in that!

I wear my sunglasses at night...Even though I think it's creepy that Jenna is always wearing her sunglasses, I can't deny my love for them.  I would wear sunglasses all the time too if I could get away with it.  Other than her earrings (which are fab), there is nothing spectacular about this look.  The shoes are decent, but I think we're over that style.  The belt makes the tunic shirt bunch in an unflattering way, and the scarf is way too looooooooooooong.

Jenna's another one with GREAT hair.  Look at those perfect curls at the end, do you think she knows her hair looks this good?  I wonder who actually does her hair if she can't see?  Hmm...

Well I like the red on her, it goes well with her hair and sunglasses.  But I don't really like her necklace, if you can call it that.  It's a little creepy if you ask me.

Mona, Mona, Mona.  There is just too much going on here.  Attitude, patterns, chunky necklace, yuck grey lace-up shoes.  I don't mind mixing patterns, and I feel it's hard to match leopard print with anything, but I don't like the cut of this shirt nor the necklace with it.  It's a very pretty necklace but should be paired with a simple shirt, not something that needs to be tamed before wearing.

In theory this should work, but it doesn't.  I don't like the gold on the belt, nor the red shoes (and that's coming from someone who loves red shoes).  Can someone please explain to me why everyone is wearing tank tops?!!  It's winter in Pennsylvania!  Newsflash: that means it's cold, very cold.

I love this magenta (I think, it's dark) flapper style shirt, and it's very age appropriate for either age Ali's trying to be.

But I'm not liking the earrings, they're a little too Jersey Shore for me.
