Kate O'Leary - Staff Editor Episode Synopsis: Caleb asks Hanna for a "date", but just so he can better his reputation...or is it? However, being the manipulator that she is, Hanna gets some personal info out of him (and not just that Caleb doesn't like light hold hairspray). Spencer volunteers to tutor Toby and I'm sensing she has a secret crush, but then again she could be using her Investigator skills to gather information. Which works, because Toby slips Spencer a secret message. Emily and Paige come to some sort of weird swimming agreement. And in Aria world, she is focusing her efforts on exposing her parent's secret affair. Ooh la la.
I think Hanna is starting to replace Aria as my favorite dresser and girl crush (some of that may be because she has Caleb's attention, but mostly because she consistently dresses spectacular). And yes, I know, Hanna and Caleb aren't real "lovebirds" yet, I'm sure it's coming, you don't think that moment on the stairs didn't mean anything?
Hanna knows how to layer, put colors together, and accessorize. Killer ring, case-in-point.
May I also mention that Hanna has been carrying that luscious green bag for several weeks now...like a real person would!
I need these boots. ASAP. The buckle and straps detailing + slightly distressed + sensible heel = on my wish list.
See: more great layering. The bright blue (?)(or is it purple?) nail polish accents brilliantly.
Oh Caleb ::sigh:: I would have much rather had just photos of his face, but alas, this is not a pretty face blog, it's a fashion one. So Caleb's rugged, canvas backpack needs attention too!
Ahhh, much better. While this grunge-y look does read a little bit "homeless" (which, technically he is), Caleb totally pulls it off. If you're going for the grunge, go all the way.
Tyler Blackburn, if your're reading this, will you date me?
He even looks hot pulling his clothes out of the garbage.
Byron Montgomery. A pretty dapper dressing dad. Neutral colors, nothing crazy, but his shirts, pants, and tie all fit wonderfully.
Ella Montgomery, on the other hand, not so much. While this isn't particularly a horrible outfit, when compared to some of the other mother's outfits (aka Emily's mom), it's just meh.
Creepy Ian. Are those khaki-colored jeans?? How did Spencer ever want to kiss this?
We find out in this episode that Melissa is pregnant. Ian already has the 'dad' outift down.
I can't figure Melissa out, which makes me dislike her, but then I see her clothes and it's hard to keep hating her. The colorful cardigan pairs really well with a slightly sparkly top. Very age-appropriate.
Again, a comfy sweater, cute top and jeans. As for the whole "I'm-pregnant-with-Ian" thing...weird.
