Kate O'Leary - Staff Editor Episode Synopsis: The girls try to figure what actually happened in the scandalous (morbid?) Ian/Alison video. But soon enough the evidence is suspiciously missing with creep-tastic Ian looking ever more the culprit. New bad boy Caleb, flirts with technology for the girls...and WITH the girls. Meanwhile, just as Ezria seemed to figure out their relationship, Aria's old baby-sitter gets thrown into the mix. At the dance-a-thon, Emily gets drunk, Aria gets jealous, and Hanna is forced to dance with Lucas--by none other than the one and only A.
This episode, one Liar was as good as another, so let's lump everyone all together, shall we? The Best and Worst outfits of the episode go to .... ARIA! (My secret girl crush)
Aria wore some AMAZING coats in this episode! While Serena van der Woodsen reigns supreme of the long, wool, dressy coat variety, I'm gonna have to say Aria rules the short jackets. Doesn't this look so cozy? Like Aria should be at a chic ski chalet sipping cocoa...
And here's fabulous jacket deux. The assymetrical buttons, shawl collar, the color, the plaid, and the uber-cute patches on the elbows (not shown here) make it divine.
I don't know what Aria was thinking here, and I will admit I was really confused by this upon first viewing. From what I can gather, these are overalls. With a heart. On the front. The saving grace, however, are the feather-y, fringe-y earrings.

This was my favorite pick. Such a beautiful dress and age-appropriate! Covered, but with just little peeks of skin--and the back...ballerina-esque. GOREGEOUS.

Also note: the earrings Aria paired with her dress. Since her dress had so much lacey detail, she chose simple dangly disc earrings. Aria really has been knocking it out of the park on ear accessory choices lately.
Taking up a notch from her usual tee and jeans combo, Emily threw on this great little jacket (the one I have been searching for months now). Her bag too is a great hue of blue for a little pop of color.
But then, she wears this....

That length of pant is never attractive on anyone, even someone as gorgeous as Shay Mitchell. Her jean jacket doesn't fit right either. Two thumbs way down on this one.
Emily's dance-a-thon dress. She wasn't nearly as fancy as her other partners in lie, but it definitely suits her style personality. I'm liking that Aria is rubbing her edginess off on her friends (re: the moto-ish boots).
Hanna's "looking-for-a-job-while-my-bf-waits-in-the-car" outfit. Her skirt is a little short for this type of activity, but the red, belted blazer is smart.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this outfit. A little edgy, a little girly, and just plain awesome. The black pants sort of toughen up the sequins which are a beautiful shade of green, and the bag in a slightly different shade...ok, I'll say it again LOVE.

This photo is a little dark to see, but Hanna belted her dance-a-thon dress which made the kinda blah floral (?), paint splattered (?) print a little more interesting.
In contrast to my overflowing love of Hanna's green sequin ensemble, I hate, hate, hate Spencer's school sartorial choice. I said in my live-tweet that her hair reminded me of the American Girl doll, Kirsten--all Spencer needs is that wreath of candles on her head. So maybe, if she had her down and got rid of that tie, she would have had a winner.

I just thought this shirt was cute. Way more interesting than plain ole plaid.
Ever the sophisticate, Spencer looks elegant and classy. Belted to provide a nice shape to what I'm assuming was a shapeless shift.
