Moments Later - Part 1 of 3 - The Pretty Little Liars

Episode synopsis:  After Hanna gets injured in the hit-and-run accident, the girls try to figure out who the driver was--and if that person is also A. Meanwhile, the girls also deal with real-life drama, by real I mean most of this stuff could actually happen.  Noel tries to persuade Aria to go to the principal about her little rendezvous with Mr. Fitz; Emily comes out to her parents; Spencer’s sister elopes with Ian (who may or may not be A); and Ashley, Hanna’s mom, seemingly gets away with stealing.

At the very beginning of the episode, the girls are still in their party-favor hoodies from Mona's birthday "camp-out." While they're just your basic zip-up, each girl really personalizes it to their own style.  Aria here, the more edgy/punk-ish one, pairs her sweatshirt with a slouchy hat and some pretty tough combat-like boots.

I wish I could have pulled this off in high school ::sigh::

Now, I'm very used to commenting on the Gossip Girls's crazy-glamorous wardrobes, so please forgive me if I can't help but make multiple references to how actually down-to-earth and normal these girls dress compared to those Upper-East Siders.

Aria is keeping it casual with a two-tone blue sweater, jeans, and accents it with a medallion chain necklace.  This is exactly what a high school girl should be wearing!

This outfit really shows off Aria's personal style.  Although, I'm not sure how I feel about the shorts and tights combo--I LOVE the leopard cardi with the purple tank.  Once again she has pretty kick-ass boots on.  I also need to note, that although her style is clearly represented, it is appropriate and not revealing i.e. high school worthy.

Here is Emily's take on the Mona sweatshirt.  She's the more sporty, athletic one, so she wears a pair of (what I think) are Vans' lace-ups--perfect for running around the woods in ;)

Emily is staying true to her casual, sporty side, and I'm a huge fan of off-the-shoulder tops so I can't help but to give rave reviews. Looks cozy!

If you've watched past episodes, you know that Emily wears a lot of tees; but I've found the t-shirts always have a little twist to make them more interesting.  This one has some lace insets--which I believe might be on the whole back of the shirt too.  Skinny jeans and cool sneakers add to the cool, casual factor.

Unfortunately for Hanna, she was stuck in the hospital all episode.  However, she still got a little style in there.  The pink, ruffled top and pink, silk robe give her a totally glam factor, while laid up with a broken leg.

Spencer is the preppy one, so she keeps it pretty simple.  I can't quite tell what type of shoe she has on, but typically she wears some sort of classic loafer-ish shoe or brogue.

Blah. Is about all I can say about his.  Spencer usually dresses better than this.  Step it up, Spence.

Ahh, this is much better.  The print of her shirt is a little funky for Spencer, but the loose-fitting blazer, rolled up jeans, and black brogues add some preppiness.

Moments Later - Part 2 of 3 - The Supporting Liars (Female Edition)

Ashley, Hanna's mom, works at a bank--and she definitely looks the bank employee part.  Neutral colors, nothing flashy.  The saving grace, however, is that her suit fits wonderfully! Which is a lot more than I can say for most bank employees I've encountered.

Boring colors...again.  However, this is probably intentional on the wardrobe department's part--her lackluster wardrobe really allows the main character's wardrobe to shine--who are honestly the most integral part of the show.  I'm really loving the delicate, gold necklace though!

Jenna is wearing nothing exciting (she never does), but I had to include her anyway.  She always wears black (which I suppose makes sense so she doesn't have to worry about colors matching), and she always wear the same sunglasses.  I'm waiting for a new pair of shades, please!

Melissa. Is. A. Crazy. Sister.  Apparently she has brought some of Nanny Carrie's psychosis with her to this shows (any One Tree Hill fans will know what I mean).  One minute she's completely angry at Spencer and the next they're BFFs. I would really hate to be Spencer.  However, Melissa always looks put-together.  This top has just the right amount of embellishment.

I'm really upset we never got a full-length view of what I'm assuming is her "wedding" dress because the back is super-cute with the exposed zipper detail.

And then the front has intricate pleating and draping.  We can only imagine how gorgeous the rest of the dress was...

Mona may be a tad overdressed for a hospital visit, but the lace vest goes nicely with the silk top (showing off her feminine, girly style) and the long bib necklace adds the perfect amount of sparkle.

Moments Later - Part 3 of 3 - The Supporting Liars (Male Edition)

Oh Ezra.  How I love thee.  Mr. Fitz is running a very close second to my love of Nate Archibald--and that's a strong love.

This must be his "day off" look.  A button down over a t-shirt...nothing special. Then again, with that face, he can pull anything off    ::dreamy look on my face::

Ezra's "school" look.  Now we're talking.  He really does have style! Sort of a throwback, old-school look with cords and a vest...very dapper.

Personally, I think Ian did not need to be open-shirted here, but for those of you who go for the scraggly, chest hair look--this is for you.

Ian clothed--much better.  However, this suit doesn't really depict his personality as well as most of the other characters.  I'm hoping there will be better sartorial choices to come!

Lucas is so adorable.  Typical high school boy.  I have no clue what his t-shirt is about, but the graphics are bright and fun.

Noel is such a cutie too.  He really can't be A, right?!

I suppose someone had to finally wear plaid...

Another typical boy look.  However, his clothes fit (but not too tailored)!...and I'm all about the fit.
