The Jenna Thing - Part 1 of 2 - So Many Secrets

Episode Synopsis:  Here a kiss, there a kiss, everywhere a kiss, kiss.  Things were hot and steamy for the Liars this episode.  Melissa spied Spencer and Wren in a forbidden lip lock in Spencer's room, which ended in Wren's departure.  Aria told Ezra she can't forget her feelings for him, and the two shared a super cute and super wet moment in Ezra's car.  Emily and Maya got much closer when Emily's mom invited Maya to stay with them for a few days.  Hanna confronted Sean about his feelings for her, wondering if he's really into her as more than a friend.  And if that wasn't enough, the reemergence of Jenna caused the girls to relive some not so pleasant memories from their past.  As the girls continue to get mysterious texts from 'A' they are still trying to solve the mystery of Alison's disappearance and who it is exactly that's haunting them.

Unfortunately the girls didn't have many outfit changes this week, except for Emily, surprisingly.  While I was pretty impressed with all the outfits, Hanna gets my vote for Best Dressed (minus one of her outfits).  Also, 'A' was still sending out individualized texts and there were some pretty juicy ones this week.

Sneaky.  Is 'A' referring to Aria and Ezra or Aria's dad and his student?

I'm kind of surprised I like this outfit because I think I would normally hate this.  But I love the v-neck button down tank top over the teal tank and it looks really good paired with her skirt.  The socks and shoes combo are throwing me off a bit, but since I love the top part so much I am OK with her feet attire.  She looks super cute and very much like a high-schooler.

And look at that lace on the back of her shirt!  Cute!

I love everything about this look, especially because I know where she just came in from.  Rainy kisses are so amazingly wonderful and Aria and Ezra's was perfect.  And she looked perfect.  Even though her shirt doesn't match her skirt, I like how they look together.  At first I wasn't sure how I felt about the belt, but I'm ok with it.  It goes well with the outfit.  And look at the flowery lining of her rain jacket...gorgeous!

I like this outfit so much I can't even say something negative about her boots!  OK, that's a slight lie.  I don't really like them and they kind of make her legs look funny.

But everything from the knees up is just so fabulous.  Aria totally has the "I'm standing in the pouring rain, please let me into your warm car Ezra, and give me a huge kiss" look down perfect!

'A' sends this to Emily at her and Maya's sleep over.  This is the first clue we get about how Emily felt about Alison.

Emily looks really cute and happy here.  And pretty girly!  I love the yellow color on her, and her hair looks absolutely amazing.

Emily is wearing yellow again in this flashback.  I couldn't get over how girly this top is, and how opposite of a tee-shirt it is.  Emily willingly put it on?  She should dress like this more often...it looks really nice on her.

Emily definitely pulled out her A game for her sleep over with Maya with an adorable top and shorts.  But can we please discuss how amazing she looks even though she just rolled out of bed in the middle of the night?  I mean seriously, that is talent.

Another super girly outfit for Emily!  And stop the presses!  There's even some major cleavage going on!  The purple top fits her so nicely, she looks really good here.  The bag is better with this outfit.  Much more complimentary.

OK this is a little more like the Emily we now know and love.  It's tee-shirt time!  I do like the oversized neckline and the off the shoulder look.  And her HAIR!  So fully and wavy.  (I'm going to try and make my hair look this good).

The girls get called into the Principal's office and 'A' shoots off this text to them:

I love this outfit.  Seriously LOVE.  It looks so great on Hanna, it fits her so well and the color compliments her wonderfully.  Thank goodness she's wearing a full length jacket instead of a cropped one like she normally does (which is terrible).  The ruffle down the front of the shirt dresses it up just enough and the necklace is the perfect accessory.  Her hair also looks fabulous, but I must say Emily did rival Hanna this week for best hair.

Interesting bag with great color, shape, and minimal design on the corners.  I want.

Here's a look at the back of Hanna's jacket.  The V-point tailoring is lovely and I adore the pocket flaps on the side.  Later in the season in "Know Your Frenimies" Hanna will try to wear a jacket similar to this but will fail miserably.  Unlike that one, this is a great cut and does not make her look like a penguin.

Seriously, why do the Liars look so good when they wake up?  Fab colors on Hanna.

See?  Cropped jacket.  Always a cropped jacket.  Thus, I was not really a fan of this outfit.  I wish the fashion police would ban ALL cropped jackets because I don't think there is one out there that looks good.  Terrible.  And it makes it worse that it's paired with an ill-fitting top, even if the design on the neckline is cute.

She redeems herself here.  The flowy blouse actually fits nicely and I don't mind the short length.  The polka dots are fabulous (obviously) and I like the halter cut of the top.  Plus we get another look at the bag that I want.

The racerback cut shows off Hanna's shoulders and adds even more pop to this already cute top.

The girls invite Jenna to lunch with them and they remember the night Ali's prank went way wrong.

Spencer is gunning for field hockey captain and takes aim in this little get up.  She looks the part, and it's really not half bad.  I just have major issues with her hair.  Too flat and stringy.

She looks awesome in this flashback scene, though.  Even though she's running from an explosion, she looks great.  Khaki vest + pinstripe button down + large belt + jean skirt = cute.  And it fits her wonderfully.

Back to the present, we see Spencer wearing another vest.  This plaid number really flatters her figure.  No wonder why Wren couldn't keep his hands off of her!

And now the Liars make their way to the Principal's office, looking fierce.  Spencer sports an extremely put- together ensemble with her form fitting blazer over blue button down and skinny jeans.  It's a great look for her.  Overall, job well done for the wardrobe department!  Each of the girls' styles shine through in these outfits and all of the clothes fit so well.  A+.

Back to the past, the girls plot their prank (gone wrong) on Toby.  I love Alison's flower blouse with butterfly sleeves.  It's a pretty color on her and nicely compliments the light grey jean skirt.

And the girls turn to see what they've just done.  Hanna is in her simple slouchy wear...we're in her "fat" years.  Emily shines in yellow.  Aria is similar to her present punkish style.  And Spencer was a preppy even then.  They definitely aren't dressed like little misfits.

Liars, yes.  Misfits, no.

The Jenna Thing - Part 2 of 2 - Could 'A' Be...

At this point in the game, anyone could be 'A.'

"Hello there Spencer, I'm here to seduce you."
"Oh Wren, you're very dapper and that accent is dreamy.  You may kiss me."

I should totally be a PLL writer, right?  Just tell me that's not how it went down in their heads!  Wren is super cute and he has a great sense of style as well.  How could Spencer resist his charm?

This navy half zip sweater looks very nice over his orange and blue plaid button down.

As much as we don't want to admit it, I think there's a very strong case for Ezra being 'A'.  He returned to Rosewood at the perfect time, he's got an air of mystery around him, and he's got Aria under her spell.  So much so that she eventually tells him everything about the girls' past and present.  I don't know...

But I do know he looks adorable in his teacher gear.  The suit fits well and the subtle dark grey stripe on his tie adds a sophisticated touch.

We've seen what Mona is capable of, there's no reason not to include her on the list of 'A' suspects.  Plus she's always on her phone.  Coincidence?

As far as her style...not too shabby, Mona.  I actually like her wide elastic band skirt with paint splattered design.  It compliments the light grey top and jean jacket.

Here she is shopping with Hanna in a very preppy cardigan.  I love the color and the fit.  Simple yet cute.

I wonder who does Jenna's hair.  It always looks so pretty, and has just enough curl and volume.

I'm actually not liking this outfit.  It might be the black tights, or perhaps the buttons down the front of the shirt.  Something is just not right.

Continuing with our 'A' suspects...could it be Maya?  Like Ezra, she appeared at the right moment and we know nothing of her past.  She seems a little shady to me, and I'm not a huge fan of her fashion sense ether.  This loose white cover up does nothing for me.  Sure, she's school appropriate, but it's just meh.

Heellllllooooooo Pocahontas.  And the flower design on the back of the shorts make them look too youthful, like one might wear in middle school.
