Here’s what you missed on Glee: Rachel can’t perform in Sectionals, so she and Finn track down Sam in Kentucky to help save New Directions. Sam’s been doing a little glittery exotic dancing under the stage name White Chocolate to help his family pay the bills since it pays more than Dairy Queen. But he loves New Directions too much to let them lose, so he’s off to Ohio and plans on teaching them some sexy new moves. Quinn is ready to blow the whistle on Shelby and Puck in order to help New Directions win AND get her baby back, but has a last minute change of heart. Tina knows best and starts to push Mike to study dance, but maybe pushes a little too hard when she visits his dad’s office. Although Mike’s dad also has a last minute change of heart and decides Mike can study dance after all. New Directions and Troubletones hit the stage at sectionals with members we’ve never seen before, but it’s New Directions who win with their Jackson medley. And that’s what you missed on Glee!

Song of the Night: Personally, I was totally into the Unitards doing Buenos Aires. And I’ve seen community theatre versions of Evita, so I know it was awesome for a high school glee club.

Santana’s Snark: “It would be rude if I followed you around and every time you took a step I played a note on a tuba.” (although her collection of Trouty Mouth insults were fantastic too)

Most Boring Song of the Week: Everything New Directions brought to Sectionals. What was that?

Outfit of the Week: We saw Mercedes in something other than jeans, sneakers and a bedazzled t-shirt! When she wasn’t performing! Girlfriend brought it with the leopard print dress and leather jacket.

Sectionals Costume of the Week: The sparkle was nice, but I preferred the white dinner jackets on New Directions.

Worst Outfit of the Week: I got excited when I saw Tina without a giant collar, but it was an ugly sweatshirt. And then she brought back the giant collar. Tina, this needs to stop.

Tune in on Friday when we get a full recap from Jill.
